Songs that I have written
This blog is supposed to house song lyrics that I've written over the years and still write. Everything I publish that's not a reblog is copyrighted and not free to use.
Aside of that I'm a fan of heavy metal, fantasy of all sorts (Discworld, "The Last Unicorn", "Neverending Story" and the like), video games (Elder Scrolls, Tomb Raiders, Warcraft, Unreal), Transformers, Batman, Sherlock Holmes and a load of other things.
I'm an outspoken atheist.

Red Robin
This was written completely on a whim. Hell, the idea was born during a boring car ride…
There was a time when nothing was right,
and when everything hurt and bled.
And in that darkness there was one light,
a tiny little smile.
A bird came to me and sat on my porch,
and uninvited it watched me.
I never spoke and it still knew all,
it came to mend the wounds.
It would not go and I let it stay,
and then it finally sang.
It chirped and it danced, still on my porch,
and finally I smiled back.
Red robin, red robin, come sing me a song
of hope that never dies.
Red robin, red robin, please sing me a song
of someone that never gives up.
Red robin, red robin, come sing me a tale
of someone forever pure.
Red robin, red robin, please sing me a tale
that never ends in tears.
And from then on it stayed by my side,
on my shoulder, watched my back.
It held me up when I could not stand
and brought me back my sons.
It found me when I was lost in myself,
it sought when I was gone.
Not even once did it think to turn back,
not once did it falter.
It remembered what was and knew what could be,
and knew what never should.
What needed be done that little bird did,
all with that warm smile.
And still it is here, after all those years,
flying with me hand by hand.
Where would I be without this little bird,
without the love it gave me?
Red robin, red robin, come sing me a song
of hope that never dies.
Red robin, red robin, please sing me a song
of someone that never gives up.
Red robin, red robin, come sing me a tale
of someone forever pure.
Red robin, red robin, please sing me a tale
that never ends in tears.
