This blog is supposed to house song lyrics that I've written over the years and still write. Everything I publish that's not a reblog is copyrighted and not free to use.
Aside of that I'm a fan of heavy metal, fantasy of all sorts (Discworld, "The Last Unicorn", "Neverending Story" and the like), video games (Elder Scrolls, Tomb Raiders, Warcraft, Unreal), Transformers, Batman, Sherlock Holmes and a load of other things.
I'm an outspoken atheist.

Once walking in the light,
ruling this great land.
Now betrayer, now exiled,
now left all alone.
Sworn to fight in name of light,
sworn to pay my debt.
I only did what honour said,
life exchanged for life.
A second chance,
exchanged salutes,
a helpful hand,
an oath that bound us so…
Never broke an oath nor vow,
always listened to my heart.
Faith, allegiance are my guides,
hammer and light in my hands.
Lived in glory, with faith fell,
by blood and honour I serve.
I was loyal to my land,
to its gods and kings.
Yet when your hands reached for me,
I knew that I shall change.
The chain that binds us is of steel,
with a “brother” engraved.
For my life I gave you home,
this I promised, this I vowed…

When that happened, a new chain
about my neck was hung.
“Traitor” was burnt on its links,
burnt with fire of my soul.
Yet the old chain still remained,
unbroken it still chimed.
Gold and silver on its links,
brother of my blood.
I was exiled, I was shunned,
I lost all what I once had.
Only faith and only you
is what I have left.
Love away, son in blood,
all my hopes and dreams then gone.
Maybe better times will come,
guilt forgotten, dreams redeemed.
